If there was ever a perfect outdoor venue for the best outdoor art show, Highland Park's Hammock is it!

Bryn Adams crushed it with her annual outdoor art show! Nestled in The Hammock, which is designed for outdoor events such as weddings, parties, or as their website states, “just an old Florida style fish fry.” Seemingly the perfect rustic outdoor venue, featuring lush green grass, comfortable shade for days, ample seating, and even a stage for live music!
A Gathering Of True Outdoor Artists
So many displays of beautiful painted images and photographs from so many unique individuals. Each with their own take on nature, both local and abroad. From downtown Deland depictions to lake sunsets and sunrises. There was truly something for everyone’s taste, including outdoor decor, such as bird houses and mushrooms!
All in all, the venue, event, and atmosphere was absolutely exceptional!
Personally, my favorite artist here happened to be a local Deland Photographer, Daniel Bass. Featuring true outdoor photography with images that you can only get by simply being out there. My son, Liam, joined me and not only did he really enjoy the photography by Daniel, but he also scarfed down quite a few of the pinwheel rolls from Daniel’s booth.

I even managed to sneak off with an awesome set of custom cards for this years Christmas. These things feature an awesome panoramic-style print, from an exceptional artist Diane Erickson. It depicts Downtown Deland’s main strip with the Elusive Grape!
