At NextFish, we’re striving to provide quality content, driven down to specific audiences, so that we can make sure that we are giving readers what they want. LocalAngler is the first digital publication from NextFish, and aims to reach local areas, hence the name, and provide an epic method of supporting tourism to local businesses in those areas.
The first state to experience LocalAngler is going to be Florida. It really makes the most sense for me, as I’m here, and I’ve got a great support team in Florida, as it stands, spread out across the state. Together, Robwil Valderrey in South FL, Preston Haytac over on the West Coast, and myself, sort of centralized here in the middle of the state, are in the process of resource gathering from contributors to advertisers. Our goal is to provide a local publication, that’s affordable for small businesses to reach audiences they struggle with, due to large box stores and other giants that aren’t even in the area. #supportlocalbusiness
With Florida being our first state, we’ve driven down into 14 regions
within Florida, and aim to speak to their specificfishing related areas, whether it be offshore, inshore, lakes, and even some select rivers in the state. I’ll drive down more specifically to each area in a future series of regarding each area. Publishing digitally each month on the 5th, you can anticipate quality integration into your area, and superb reach, as we will dive down specifically to your market and beyond.
As far as Contributors go, we’re really looking for local knowledge to help boost out-of-town desire to visit and fish the areas, while visiting local shops and making new friends in the area. It’s all about community, and we’re striving to build a great one. Fishing Guides, Tournament Anglers, Shop Owners and Pro Staff members all make great options for contributions. We’re using a set-rate payment system to start, as we want to manage this as best we can with our funding coming through our advertisement budget.
Types of articles you can expect to see in each issue range from Fishing Reports to Product Reviews, Business Spotlights to Local Adventures and so much more. If you’re looking to become a contributor for your area or just a contributor in general, get a hold of me, and I’ll talk to you more in depth about our Contributor Guidelines.
As far as Advertisers go, we’re looking to help local businesses in the regions, and of course help with branding larger industry-related businesses that have dealers in these areas. We’d love to work with everyone, but this particular publication, we’ll be a little strict on who gets in and who doesn’t. We’ve got some great pricing put together, ranging from $50 all the way down to $9. If you have any questions about this, get a hold of Robwil Valderrey, and he’d be able to get you more information to help you make the best of our publication!
